COURSE DESCRIPTION

Basic Science for nursery school introduces young children to the world around them and promotes curiosity and exploration. The focus is on fostering an early interest in scientific concepts through hands-on activities, observation, and inquiry-based learning.

In nursery school, children are encouraged to explore and investigate the natural world through simple experiments and observations. They may explore topics such as plants, animals, weather, seasons, the five senses, and the properties of objects.

Teachers use age-appropriate methods to engage children in scientific exploration. This can include sensory activities to explore textures, colors, and smells, as well as nature walks to observe plants and animals in their environment.
