SUBJECT DESCRIPTION

English Language development is a key priority in nursery school.

Teachers aim to create a language-rich environment that immerses children in English through various activities. These activities include speaking and listening exercises, reading a wide range of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and rhymes, and encouraging children to share ideas through conversation, story-telling, and role play.

Teachers often use instructional models and strategies that are specifically designed to teach English language skills to young children. This can include action-based activities, games, singing, dancing, storytelling, role play, and dramatization techniques.

By engaging in these interactive and playful activities, children develop their speaking, listening, and comprehension skills in English.

For children whose first language is not English, there may be specific programs or ESL (English as a Second Language) teachers available to provide targeted support.

These teachers are fluent in English and teach the students using English only. In some regions, bilingual classes are also available for students whose first language is not English.

In nursery school, the focus of English language learning is on building vocabulary, developing basic sentence structures, and improving communication skills. Through exposure to English in a nurturing and stimulating environment, children begin to develop the foundations of language fluency and proficiency that will continue to grow in later years.

My name is Osas, and I'm excited to be a tutor. I have been teaching officially for 5years. Teaching is my passion, and I love nothing more than helping students develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. My teaching style is focused on building a strong foundation of knowledge and then building upon it to help students reach their full potential. I believe that practice and reinforcement are key to mastering any subject, and I always provide plenty of opportunities for students to practice what they’ve learned. My ultimate goal as a tutor is to help students build confidence in their abilities and develop a lifelong love for learning. Outside of teaching, I enjoy singing, and I’m always looking for new ways to learn and grow.
